OUR STORY
Mouth-Watering Food
WooW was an idea that has been growing within me since I was a child ,spending hours in my parents restaurants and hotels and cooking with family .
I have worked in all aspects of hospitality from lisencee to front of house to personal family caterer and all in between.
I have always had a love for food, and spent countless hours in watching, learning and absorbing recipes from my Sicilian heritage . This coupled with childhood years growing up in the mountains of Andalucía, I have attained a wealth of knowledge and flavours that I'm bursting to share !
I and my team, are incredibly passionate about sourcing sustainable, locally sourced produce. Combining this with our love for foraging and cooking consciously & with love , we create magic within our cooking.

( Wild ones of Winchester ) bespoke home catering was brought to life in February 2021 after spending over 25 years within the catering & hospitality industry and having grown up in hotels and restaurants.
Wild ones wanted to bring their expertise and rustic colourful flavours to home events parties weddings and personal cheffing.
We know our dynamite small team create food magic!
with a splash of pzazz and a drizzle of passion our home cooked creations pack a tasty, hearty rustic experience full of drama and laid back fun to a variety occasions & events.
Bringing in 3 generation's of Spanish & Italian heritage recipes and taste to each affair, our lifelong love affair with food shows within our creations.
We have a wide repertoire of foods & styles, from art formed grazing tables to taster menus, big pan paella and all in between.
We can not only do the food aspect for you, we can create decor, be it a table design, or room , we have a massive creative flair that can provide a stunning talking piece.

"Thank you so much for catering for my group of 16 at the Spring Equinox Yoga Retreat. You, and your food, were awe-inspiringly amazing! You were easy and prompt in communications. On the actual day itself, you were like a fairy god-mother, arriving without any fuss whatsoever and then suddenly out of nowhere you were serving these gorgeously hearty tasty stews with home-made violet drinks and lemonade. I particularly loved the nettle and garlic pesto that you made from foraged food. Then you tidied everything up (again, didn’t even notice this happening) and voila, you were gone (again with no fuss whatsoever). All my guests loved the warm comforting food, and we could all feel that you had prepared it all with love. Thank you a million times. I am booking you for all my retreats going forwards!!!"

Pip provided a wonderful paella for a family 18th birthday dinner. We couldn’t have been happier. The food was so delicious whilst the service was the perfect mix of really friendly yet super efficient .
It is the first time we have used caterers at home and it was so lovely to be able to relax and enjoy the event. I would not hesitate in using them again

My goodness, the food we were served by WooW at a recent retreat was OUT OF THIS WORLD. I couldn't believe how many delicious flavours & dishes we experienced over just a few days.
I am truly inspired by this business and would book them to do food at my event in a heartbeat. As I said at the time, I could taste the love and joy that was poured into every dish we were treated to. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I contacted Pip at Wild Ones of Winchester to arrange a very special meal over which to propose to my partner. From the outset, Pip was so helpful in putting together some beautiful vegetarian options to choose from, and working with me to arrange timings and delivery to work in with the alfresco table setup that I'd arranged with the glamping site we were staying at, which all helped to make it a wonderful surprise for my partner. The food arrived right on time, and was absolutely stunning. Each of the three courses was so beautifully presented and tasted amazing, with lovely fresh ingredients all cooked to perfection. Pip even printed off a lovely personalised menu card for the occasion. The care and attention to detail were perfect. It all clearly worked a treat, as I popped the question after the main course and my now fiancée said "Yes"! A huge thank you to Pip and all at Wild Ones for helping to make the occasion so special - a wonderful meal we will never forget!

Pip was wonderful in suggesting a menu for our Vegan dinner for ten. We especially loved the wild garlic and nettle soup and focaccia, but really everything was delicious and appealed to even the non-vegans among us! Thanks Pip!Would recommend Yes

Having never had to organise a wake before after our uncle's funeral it was fortunate that we chose WooW to do the reception. Far more people were there than expected but Pip’s generous quantities meant there was plenty to go around. She also agreed to stay on to help serve and clear up afterwards. We would have been very stuck without her calm and professional attitude.
